Fear and Stagnancy

8Fear and stagnancy
Sitting in fear, putting out a cozy chair like you're going to be there awhile. Putting your feet up to relax, you're not going anywhere unless you stand up. If you don't point out the ripples in the water, you are ignoring what's underneath. The echoes are still there from even the smallest piece of gravel. It's your right to see yourself first and foremost as an honest testimony to that. When you collect all the imprints on your heart, you will find that nothing will ever be the same again. The thing is it's not supposed to be. It will push you, but it will not break you. Take comfort in your gentle strength. Think back to when you were young enough to remember you knew the core that made you without the pain, false expectations, and fear. A mindset toward an old photograph doesn't capture new moments or the ones that will emerge. Keeping a weary mind on a hamster wheel creates a cycle you've fought hard to break. To give three steps ahead than five back, you're coming out in the negative. Are you afraid of change? Are you afraid of yourself? Or is it both? Circling the repetitive motion is hurting you. Be aware enough to not forget where you have been and have a clear vision to feel what's before you, even if it's unknown. The beauty laid out may be carved out with stones you might trip on. If you get up or avoid them it's still stable, it's knowing how to leap without weight. The body leaves the ground and lands where it's supposed to be. The old ties that brought you to your knees have been released. That road in the rearview is closed, make your peace. Or hold onto the remnants you so desire with openness and new insight. Make sure you don't try to change things that you don't have control over. You have the right and permission to change yours solely. The only dilemma is when you will be able and ready to absorb that. Take in the blessings and accept what will be after. There's a life beckoning, like a passage from a book waiting to be read. That will resonate or can until you take your last breath. The energy is changing, and there's a choice to stop or to go. Left or right, the notion of deciding wrong doesn't exist if it's pure. If you choose to be still too long, it chooses no, and your power is diminished. In doing so, the shingles of the roof that protect your essence from the weather are damaged or cracked, and it will be harder to keep out the rain. Make your home feel like another person will be there, loving you, and calm overthinking with thoughtful placements. Reward your accomplishments and keep moving toward the paradise you seek, even if it's not quite the one you had in mind. It's still yours. You are not meant to know the full journey, because then walking would be a breeze. Your old ways would surface with an ugly shift, and all would be lost. Embrace yourself with acceptance, even when your greatest traumas feel like they may be around the corner. It's just the shadows of a life past, like a ghost. The only difference is if you're awaiting its return with open arms. Shift that perspective. Abandoning the truth you feel in your soul presently will only add more injury. Your tired hands write new narratives. Avoid unhealed splinters to overthink growth and love itself. The story must unfold, done without cloudiness, to walk into the sunset you deserve and prayed for.
