I'm A Star

I, at times, wonder...
Where in this vast and massive Universe,
Will my star come to reside.
After this stage of my life begins to dim.
Fading away the flame inside of me.
Done with a passing on,
To another experience my soul embraces.

As I grow to age and know,
An immortal life to live if forever.
Could and maybe true.
Living it to do from a different point of view.
And in another time to forget,
Never again to remember this life left behind.

I, at times, wonder...
Which new path will I be attracted to take.
Is that something assigned?
Or is that a decision I alone make.

So mysterious is this experience to live it.
With many questions to ask.
And none come with answers.
Until, I am told, when all is done.

Leaving me still to wonder,
'Until WHAT is all done?'
And no one has said a thing to me yet,
About when to start preparing for a test...
That passes an inspection.
Meeting God's approval and satisfaction!
