Serenade of the Twilight
Nadeem 1990 (bikaner)
In the dusky hush, when the sun's last rays depart,
A wistful tune drifts from the heart of the dark,
As twilight whispers softly, a serenade so fine,
Merging worlds in melody, a tapestry divine.
The sky blushes orange, a farewell to the light,
While stars begin to shimmer, adorning the night,
Notes of twilight's secrets, ethereal and fair,
Caress the waning day, embracing in the air.
Soft zephyrs sway the trees, their branches sigh,
With each breath, the twilight unveils its lullaby,
Crickets join the chorus, their rhythms gently thrum,
As shadows pirouette to the nocturnal drum.
The moon ascends the heavens, a radiant guide,
As darkness weaves its magic, casting dreams aside,
Lovers seek the twilight's kiss, amidst its tender sway,
Their hearts entwined forever in the fading of the day.
Mysterious and mystical, twilight's reign unfolds,
A symphony of whispers, where secrets are behooved,
In this sacred hour, the soul finds sweet reprieve,
In twilight's tender solace, where worlds interweave.
Oh, serenade of the twilight, sing your final verse,
Embrace our weary spirits, let our worries disperse,
For within your gentle grasp, hope's ember softly gleams,
And as we bid farewell, we're cradled in our dreams.
So, let us be enchanted by the twilight's soft caress,
As it paints the sky with colors, igniting our duress,
And may we find solace in its ephemeral embrace,
Forever captivated by the twilight's tender grace.
In the dusky hush, when the sun's last rays depart,
A wistful tune drifts from the heart of the dark,
Serenading the twilight, this dance of day and night,
Where dreams and reality merge in harmonious flight.
