Summer afternoon
The summer afternoon came upon
Me and my sister as we hurried outside
To the ice cream truck when it pulled up to the house
The air was stale and hot with a very small subtle breeze in the air
Me and my sister walked to the truck with great
Excitement, we answered the ice cream truck driver when he asked
Us what we would like to get from the truck
“ I would like a vanilla ice cream with some strawberry syrup please”
“ ok there you go that will be $ 4 please”
I reached into my pocket only to find that I didn't have any money in my pocket
I didn't know what I was going to do so I had to think very fast on what I was going
To do so I told my sister to stay at the ice cream truck and wait for me to come back and to tell him to stay so I could get the ice cream.
When I got home my mother said “ I thought you were getting ice cream?”
I explained to her that when me and my sister went up
To the ice cream truck I realized i forgot my money
She understood and gave me a couple dollars to spend
I ran as fast as I could out the door and hurried back to the ice cream truck
And to my surprise it was still there with my sister gladly waiting by it
I finally got the ice cream and was incredibly
Proud of how i reacted and how fast I was to react
And because of that I scored myself a nice summer afternoon.
