The mask I wear

Khanya Ngovu 1994 (Bizana)

It's a facade, but I still choose it
It hides all the pain, thats why I wear it
The mask I wear gives me power,
Though inside I'm torn asunder

I still choose it,
It keeps me sane,
But sanity invites pain
Yet if I remove my mask I'll be insane

Its smiles and lies comfort me
While pity and sorrow destroy me
It hides adversities underneath,
An excellent job if you ask me !
