Prisoner

Prisoner

I awoke fearfully facing the Day
Wishing a hideaway
Knowing not rhyme nor reason...Why?
Who shall I confide?
Sounds and light: Amplified
Pains in my head: Terrified
Looking out the window...I'll never be
Widowed
Frightened to touch the door
Sometimes tired of living ...Anymore
