DOSES OF DEPRESSION.

DOSES OF DEPRESSION.

Opening my page, tears rolling down,
My self image, appears as clown,
Emotions centre stage, face wearing flown,
Rotting in my cage, laugh of this town,

Battling down my demon, warring hard at haste,
Powered by adrenol as hormone, my efforts going waste,
Another day do dawn, me dreaming nightmares,
Torn by sparks of depression, but who really do care,

My heart become stone, emotions solid cold,
Talking to my very own, assuming what once told,
Another day do dawn, this boy grows another old,
Feeling ever alone, inside this empty lonely world,

Mind playing mere games, yet I'm lost in boredness,
Nicknamed replacing my name,acknowledging awkwardness,
Incoherent in expression, reasoning my very madness,
Addicted to dose of depression, my life is a big mess,

Religion I commit, godly am manic,
Life of'a hermit, faithfully I'm fanatic,
Daring this direction, unshaken by panic,
Doses of depression, cured from lunatic.

About this poem

This poem is about how far depression can take you if you give it a chance to dominate your life. The persona in this poem is badly affected by depression. He even dares suicide by acknowledging the fact that- I do dare this direction (death) unshaken by any fear. Thank you.
