Free

Valiantstar 1961 (Sydney)

I've heard it said that nothing is free.
On the surface, I would have to agree.

They draw us in with a promise of gain.
But as with sport, not many find fame.

You can pay for the privilege,
you might get a view.
Who are the winners?
I hope it is you!

Teachers are many, idols abound.
But truth spoken, is on solid ground.

Freely we give, freely receive.
It's the blessing that brings us
the freedom to please.
