He Loved Her In Silence

His heart is heavy with a burden he can't bear.
He's madly in love with a woman
He can never claim as his own.
Her beauty is like a ray of sunlight,
Illuminating his world with every glimpse of her.

Her eyes sparkle like diamonds,
Captivating his soul with every glance.
Her smile holds the promise of joy untold,
Sending shivers down his spine
With its radiance.

For years, he's watched her from afar,
Powerless to act on his feelings.
Tormented by the knowledge
That she belongs to another.
He's kept his love hidden deep.

And he longs to tell her the truth.
To whisper in her ear
The words that have been burning in his chest
For so long.
To hold her close, and never let go.

But, he can't.
He knows that to do so
Would break her heart, and his as well.
So, he keeps his love locked away,
A secret he alone must bear.

And so he watches her from afar,
Content to bask in the warmth of her presence. Content to love her in silence,
Knowing that his love for her
Will never fade away.
