Flawless And Fiction Free
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
So many live with a need to appear flawless.
Blemish and fiction free.
Taught to feel...
Emaculately conceived and miraculously born,
Above judgement to pass it.
Yes.
To them this misdeed has been done.
By someone proud of this evil who knew...
How to create a legacy of sickened minds.
In an experiment to poison one's innocence.
Whether intentionally or not.
Believing a dynasty they would leave behind.
Emotionally tormented.
Yet unaware of being victimized by greed.
Yes!
In the hopes,
Genuises and not mistakes to make...
Fŕom fools demanding never to be replaced.
Would walk tall in a fluid and royal,
Gesture of grace.
But participate in contributing,
This kind of unconscious blinding mindset...
As a guaranteed concrete way to follow,
And achieve greatness to emulate.
Enhanced by the pomp and circumstance.
Temporarily celebrated.
As if one who has set the example.
To make imitation an art and sign of flattery.
That has left few if any at all to question,
What happens next to a plagiarized...
Popularized faked existence distanced.
Yet...
Accessible.
To those ego obsessed and narcissistically,
Self possessed.
Pretending with such pretentiousness,
That no one is left capable to recognize,
The madness of this abnormalcy.
Functioning dyfunctionally and yet accepted...
As the best pretentious minds around found.
Not below ground gone to worship.
But pledged with devoted loyalty to follow.
Achieving permanent craze to defend,
Forevermore!
Blemished to a fault and flawed.
