Eternal Flame

As I glance into the darkness
On a rainy summer night
My candle let's off a magnificent light.

The candle's wick gets hit by the rainy mist
As it looks like a butterfly so graceful with wit

Children of tomorrow and those of today
Will forever be our dancing butterflies in so many ways

For the flicker of the candle sparkles in the littlest of eyes.
Even as the flame gets blown out
The sparkle is still alive in all our children's eyes
