Friend

It was a beautiful summer day,
We met along the way,
From me a nod and a big smile,
Turned into worth my while.
We again met at a cafe,
I had gone for take away,
We sat,
And had a long chat,
Turned out she was awesome,
Soon our friendship blossomed.
When we exchanged our address,
Found she lived near my house,
Our daughters went to the same school,
Isn't that cool.
Now we are inseparable,
Sharing our joy and sorrow,
And dreams of tomorrow.
