Echoes of Sannabellenta

Under the red woods' canopy,
And the azure sky's harmony,
The immense wound, a mystery,
And blue curls, a symphony.

Time, a thief, has taken away,
The woods, the sky, and the wound's display,
But memories, like a bouquet,
Of tender moments, forever stay.

Sannabellenta, your name,
Echoes in my heart, like a flame,
A light that never fades, the same,
A love that forever remains.

In golden fields, where poppies sway,
I think of you, my love, every day,
Of your voice, so gentle and gay,
And your eyes, like stars, lighting my way.

Sannabellenta, you are,
The sunshine in my life, by far,
My guiding star, my North Star,
A love that will never mar.

The red woods may disappear,
And the azure sky may not be clear,
But my love for you, my dear,
Will remain, forever and ever near.
