Where do I go now?

Was is real or
having I been dreaming?
I let you into my soul
Showed you a side of me
never seen by anyone else
never accepted by anyone else
I finally felt what true love is like
I had a little taste of it and
now I have to swallow it

I’ve wandered this world
Watched from the outside
never being part of anything real
I do what is right
or at least I try to
But is it right for them
or is it right for me
Now I’ve had a piece of your world

What do I do now?
Do I continue to sacrifice?
Do I continue to not feel?
Do I live a life of solace
while being surround by so many?
How do I do this
and how can I continue?
How do I disappear
when all I want is to be seen?

Darkness will always surround me
My eyes have adjusted
Maybe your light was too bright
and all it did was blind me
