I Never Knew

Wow, what a life we live
Constant changes & uncertainty every day,
What do I have to offer
Self check to make sure of my motives.

Life can be unfair & cruel at times
Giving up shouldn't be an option,
Every struggle should make us stronger
Hope is all we have, having peace of mind.

Daily checks, to see where I stand
The beast within, not liking what I see,
Got to keep moving forward, despite the setbacks
Gotta regain my focus, I'm depending on me.

Searched high & low for answers that should be within me
Blessed when I didn't deserve it,
Each day moving closer to my destination
Finally letting go, I never knew !!
