Metamorphosis

How does one operate as a talentless unit?
Do I have the capacity to push forward
Or can I manage to trick myself into believing
In myself?
The utter bullshit that it is
I type not knowing
What will come of these words
I trade them in to get the most out of them
In the end
What am I given?
Closed doors
And every excuse as to why
I am not viable or good enough
And yet I’m like a roach
I keep coming back
Hoping the shoe that squashed the last dream
Lets this one live
