Free verse
Blinded by the bright light
Unable to focus on the negative
It burns, but in a good way
Passion generates a different heat

Lonely is a distant memory
Unhappiness lives here no more
Love has never felt so good
Fear rises with the thought of absence

Rain your dust upon me
Let me float to your Neverland
You make me feel young again
Love me like we’ve lived before

About this poem

After writing poems about life and love and people. I realized that I’ve never wrote a poem about the one who saved me and showed me what love really was.
