Trauma of war

Walking dead,
Talking dead,
Shots flying,
Dodging bullets,
Family crying,
Lost this soul,
This man’s war,
Tears in my eyes,
Dropping like blood,
My neck swiveling day to day,
Shadows of figures in my brain,
Night and day,
The flip of a switch I am blazing tall,
Dropping them like flies.
Can’t go like this.

Family crying,
People dying,
