War in Africa, a deadly game
Where nations rise and fall in flames
Battles fought for power and gain
Leaving destruction and endless pain

The land is torn and resources scarce
Families torn apart, their love dispersed
Children forced to fight, and die
While leaders ripe the profits high

Oh Africa, land of great beauty
Why must you suffer this cruelty?
Where is the peace that should reign
And allow the people to live and regain

Hope for a better tomorrow
That all may live in peace and follow
The path of love and unity
And bring and end to this war-torn misery
