My Son Madison

Candi Carroll 1984 (Tallahassee)

Sitting here watching you lifeless
Breathing with no response,
Seeing you look like that
It makes my heart drop.
My heart is shattered as
My eyes fill with tears,
I want to see those eyes open
My heart is filled with fear.
I cannot lose you baby
We need you here with us,
We have a trip to take
Just like we discussed.
Momma will not leave you
Until you can open your eyes,
I love you so much and so
Glad you're a child of mine.
