MOSAIC OF MISTAKES
MOSAIC OF MISTAKES
I feel like a Mosaic of mistakes…
Seeking for Lover in a world of broken souls…
Seeking A friend in a world where deception grows…
This is An age so bleak …
An era so surreal …
An array of emotions racing like mad horses trying to impress a set of bidders.
Constantly Camouflaging in these filters and fillers …
“Starve till your bones show”...
Where did my freedom go?!
Sleep, wake up, Attack and defend!
When will my teenage end?
Where are the teen years I dreamed of…
Why am I crying tears I never wished for…
Every night Crying myself to sleep …
If my mind was a movie, it would be full of a bleep…
Trying to declutter the clutter…
I once used to speak my mind but now I stutter…
Trying to fit in with the best…
My exhausted mind wishes to take a rest…
They tell me “it is a phase”
Oh, I really hope it is…
Because
I feel like a mosaic of mistakes …
Trying to give up, trying to get up
Trying to fight, trying to flight
Trying to contemplate what is wrong and what is right.
Jealousy, envy, misery and hate …
“Look at her dress”, “damn she ate”,
“He got a fitter girl”,
“She straightened her ugly curl”,
“Did you see her, She lost a lot of kilos”,
The tears behind white teeth, no one sees those…
All the ugly faces cased behind a shiny mask
“How you doing, bud?” waiting for someone to ask.
Everything around seems broken
Is it everything or is it one thing I haven't looked within…
I, me and myself…
The broken and twisted -
I, me and myself…
