Living For Today

Sharon Atkins 1976 (Toronto)

Tomorrow will I wake up
and feel a different way?
Will I regret the decision I have made
and wish that I had stayed?
Tomorrow will you wake up
And wish you’d made it right?
Will you be able to sleep
without me holding you at night?
Tomorrow will I wake up
And say what wasn’t said?
Will you be there for me?
Has it all been in my head?
No matter what tomorrow brings
I know I’ll be okay
Because tomorrow is just a thought
I’m really living for today.
