As we pray to the lord
Filling our hearts with good
And kneel beside the statues of love
And dream of angels surrounding us
Tenderly folding together our hands
Sharing a prayer sweet God understands
Lovingly settled by our faithful words
Reassuring each other that we are heard
In candlelit room of gentle trusted light
A shrine so sacred in the moonlit night
And the world is made a softer place
Our eyes close in grace's embrace
With prayers of greater good on earth
in every soul that was ever birthed
And the secrets of devine love fulfilling
with the grand breaths of life taming the living
God leans his favour
