The Light of Love: A Sonnet of Enduring Passion
Amidst the depths of my soul's endless desire,
A love so vast it knows no bounds or end,
My heart and mind doth endlessly aspire,
To measure this love, this feeling I attend.
More than enough to fill the ocean wide,
To paint the skies with every ounce of love,
My passion for thee doth never subside,
For in your presence, I feel free as a dove.
More than the distance to the moon above,
And more than there are stars in all the sky,
My love for thee doth conquer time and space,
And in thy absence, I forever sigh.
My heart creaks on each beat as it strains,
Under the weight of my love, uncontained.
For in this world, there is no measure found,
To quantify my love for thee, my crown.
From Shakespeare's sonnets to Rumi's verse,
Their words pale in comparison to mine,
For this love, this flame, doth forever burn,
And in thy presence, I am forever thine.
So how much do I love thee? More than words,
Can ever express, more than all the birds,
That ever sang, or poets ever wrote,
My love for thee doth transcend every note.
In this dark world, where shadows loom and creep,
My love for thee doth forever shine,
A beacon of hope, a light that never sleeps,
In thy embrace, forever will I be thine.
For in my heart, my soul, my every thought,
My love for thee is all I ever sought.
From the dawn of time, to the end of days,
My love for thee will never fade or wane,
For in thy presence, my soul forever stays,
And in thy absence, I forever pain.
I love thee more than life itself, my dear,
More than the breath that flows within my lungs,
And though my words may not be crystal clear,
My love for thee forever overruns.
Like a river that flows into the sea,
My love for thee is endless and unbound,
It surges through my veins and sets me free,
And in thy love, true happiness is found.
So let the winds of fate and fortune blow,
And let the tempests rage across the skies,
For in thy love, my heart will forever glow,
And in thy arms, my soul forever lies.
In this dark world, where shadows loom and creep,
My love for thee doth forever shine,
A beacon of hope, a light that never sleeps,
In thy embrace, forever will I be thine.
For in my heart, my soul, my every thought,
My love for thee is all I ever sought.
And though the years may come and go,
My love for thee will forever grow.
So take my hand, and hold it tight,
For in thy love, I find my light.
And though the world may be unkind,
With thee beside me, I shall never mind.
For in thy love, my heart forever beats,
And in thy embrace, my soul forever meets.
So let the world do as it will,
For in thy love, my heart forever fills.
And though the storm clouds may gather 'round,
And though the winds may howl and moan,
In thy love, my heart is forever found,
And in thy arms, I am forever home.
For love like ours, a love so true,
Is a bond that time cannot break,
And in thy eyes, I see a reflection of you,
A love that forever will take.
For in this dark world, where pain and sorrow reign,
Our love will forever light the way,
And in thy heart, my love will forever remain,
A love that forever will stay.
So take my hand, my love, and hold it tight,
For in thy love, I find my delight,
And though the world may be unkind,
With thee beside me, I shall forever find.
For in thy love, my heart forever beats,
And in thy embrace, my soul forever meets.
So let the world do as it will,
For in thy love, my heart forever fills.
And so, my love, in these words I impart,
The depth of my love, the essence of my heart,
For in thy love, I find my strength,
And in thy arms, I find my length.
So let the world do as it may,
For in thy love, my heart forever will stay.
And though the years may come and go,
My love for thee will forever grow.
For even as the seasons change and pass,
And even as the tides of fate do turn,
My love for thee will forever last,
And in thy love, my heart forever yearns.
I love thee more than words can ever say,
More than the colors of the sunset sky,
For in thy love, my heart forever lays,
And in thy arms, my soul forever flies.
In this world of darkness and despair,
Our love will forever be a shining light,
For in thy love, my heart forever shares,
A love that forever will take flight.
And though the mountains may crumble and fall,
And though the rivers may dry and run,
Our love will forever stand tall,
A love that forever , is our gold.
