Final Paycheck

Final Paycheck..
Life is Cruel,
The World an unforgiving place.
Did everything more then  correct & the devil is again laughing in my families face.
This is all it takes for a family to lose everything & be erased.
An illness & loss of income at the same time
And Again we stand alone with no one at our side.
Do I sound angry to you
If it can happen to us , it can happen to you.
How much  more must my family suffer.
All I worked for the last 4 years decimated by a pen stroke of another.
For Many its still so much worse.
I know how this goes, Ive had years to rehearse.
I will not ask or expect a helping hand,
In this life, Your Darkest Hour Alone you will Always Stand.
Yes it's not fair, unjust , flat out Wrong,
I will reach out to save others cuz that is now my Song.
Yes my faith & spirit are shaken, & Broken,
Maybe another family will be saved due to these words  I have written & spoken.
I have not done enough good yet to earn a repent,
Your sympathy & emojis won't pay my rent.
It's May 2019 All over Again,
We are all only one paycheck away from losing everything my friend.
I don't know wether to laugh, scream or cry.
When you lie to me be strong enough too look me directly in the Eye.
What cud I have done different, What signs did I miss.
Hoping there isn't any more blood in my piss,
As Graphic as my words maybe,
Right now this is my families reality.
Us against the world, why would it go any other way.
So I'm living with mind numbing pain & I'm consumed with fear,
When I'm gone no one will even remember I was here.
I will force myself to rise another Way.
I Do find some comfort in this words I write,
As I can no longer sleep at Night.
I try not to be sad or wear a frown,
Its not  the first & definitely not the last time
I will be kicked while I'm down.
DONT GIVE UP
