poetry

I would like a poem for poetry sake.no purpose, no message, no, theme.
just words on a page with meter and rhyme as uncontrollable as dream.
I have written odes. I have written songs, but poetry always return.
a constant companion to light up my life like a candle.
that forever burns.
sometimes it's silly sometimes its profound and some speak of passionate.
but taking no credit for inspiration that's feeling know it is a gift from above.
so, I will go on writing as I aways do responding when I feel the touch.
at night when I pray ill think the good lord for a dream I love so much
