The Deceptions Web

Deception's web is spun with lies
It twists and turns, a serpent's guise
It weaves its way into your heart
Tearing you apart, tearing you apart

But deception is not always clear
Sometimes it hides behind a veneer
A mask of truth that's meant to deceive
Your trust it steals, your trust it steals

It's hard to see when you're caught in the fray
But deception will have its way
It'll twist and turn, it'll twist and burn
Leaving you with nothing to learn

But don't give up, don't give in
There's a way to win, a way to begin
To see through the lies and the deceit
And find the truth, find the truth that's sweet

It takes courage and it takes strength
To break free from the web of length
But when you do, you'll find your way
Out of the darkness, into the day

So don't give up, don't give in
Find the truth, let the light begin
To shine through the lies and the deceit
And find your way, find your way complete
