of that, golden sky

As the sun laughs at the Gods
And throws down its diamond wings
And draws the creatures to its bliss
Let us ponder this...
For as, in its blackened sky it sits
Do we laugh back at its golden day
As alone it sits so far away drawing us closer with every day
And so, of that, golden sky earth lay
Drowning us in its purity
What is to become of thee
When all of the planets have melted away
Will the Gods themselves make way
For the dying of this golden day
Or will they yet rise anew
And then what glories would they do
What lies beyond eternity
Wherein the sweetest fairies stay
And the beings seen by none but dreamers
But yet the Gods, and everyone?
So laughs the sun for knowing he
Is as much a God as the Gods they be...
