Have You Ever?

Have you ever felt alone,
Like no one cares?
Have you ever felt like
No one is ever there?
Every time you turn around...
Something else has gone wrong?
You always find yourself
Humming another mournful song...
Have you ever felt like
You always want to cry?
Just to ease the pain,
Have you wanted to die?
Have you ever felt like
Just ripping out your hair?
Have you ever felt the heat,
From someone's cold hard stare?
Have you ever felt like
Your world is falling apart?
Have you ever felt as if
Everyone has stabbed you in the heart?
Have you ever just wanted to scream,
At people, to go away?
Have you ever wondered why
It is that you stay?
Have you ever felt like you were going insane,
Just because you cant get rid of the pain?
Have you ever felt alone and afraid
Of the damage you might do?
...Or are you just scared... of you?

About this poem

I wrote this poem when I was in high school, writing poetry helped me get through some of the most crazy parts of it.
