Solitude's Serenade : The Imagination's Oasis
My apologies to you all, my dear friends, I say,
For withdrawing into solitude's embrace;
A world of imagination calls my way,
And writing's craft consumes my every pace.
I seek the quiet, where my thoughts can soar,
And words can flow from pen without restraint;
A place where ideas no bounds implore,
And creativity's flames can freely paint.
But do not think that I ignore you, friends,
Or that my heart has grown too cold to feel;
It's just that I have reached a new life's bend,
Where writing is my soul's fervent appeal.
So please forgive this introvert's retreat,
And know my love for you will never deplete.
And though I seem to have gone far away,
My thoughts are always with you, night and day.
For every line I write, each verse I pen,
Is inspired by the love of loyal friends.
The solitude that I now embrace,
Is merely fuel for my creative blaze.
And when the words are flowing like a stream,
I know that I have found my greatest dream.
So let me be, and let me concentrate,
On crafting stories, poems, and debate.
For in my solitude, I find my peace,
And all the answers to life's great release.
So let me stay within this peaceful state,
And when I'm done, I'll rejoin you at the gate.
