MOMENTS IN LIFE

There are moments in life,
When it feels as though nothing exists.
When the wind stops blowing,
And everything suddenly comes to a standstill.

These moments are peaceful,
So serene and soft.
Filled with so much silence, emotion, reminders and infact, life.
These; the simple elements of this world.

It's not so hard to put together these pieces,
To understand if what you are truly feeling is everything,
Or nothing.
Then you keep praying,
For more knowledge and understanding.

At this point, you hear yourself think,
Or breathe,
Until you can't hear any of it,
Or hear all at once;
Your thoughts and breath.

Thoughts!
If only people could read and see those thousand thoughts,
Going on in that pretty little mind of yours.
If only.
Thoughts that clash with one another,
Fighting for dominance,
Each blessed day.

Breathe. Simply breathe.
That moment when you take in nature.
Just like when you smell the rain coming,
Which soothens your nerves.

This makes you come to a realization,
And feel,
That you are at peace,
With the world.
At least, for that period of time.

Stepping out is just like stepping into a whirlwind,
Where confusion sets in as to what you're going through at the moment;
Anything.
Nothing.
Everything.

At times, stepping into a whirlwind,
Makes one void of everything.
Could be painful or fulfilling.
And with the sound of the gush of wind,
You know, that that is the only reminder,
Of you, being alive.

These moments in life are just so beautiful.
A life, filled with beautiful creatures,
Created by the Creator.
Creatures you'd want to engage with,
Over and over again.

A friendship shared,
A laugh, a kiss.
Oh, and not to talk about that glint of hope,
In these creatures' eyes,
Whenever time permits,
To reminisce,
On past, present and future events.

Events,
That could make or mar you.
You never can tell.
All these you do,
Just to stay happy.

And just like Cocoa House,
You stand tall,
No matter the circumstances you face.
All because you know,
That in just a blink of an eye,
You may miss out,
In these special moments,
Of life.
