Memories

Rakhi Singh 2002 (Ranchi)

Sitting on the edge of the wood
Planning to travel with butterflies
Made plans with beautiful dreams
Walked hand in hand  in peace .
But these were all in light .

A dark long night and all gone
All alone with no peace .
No beauty left in the midst of darkness
Couldn't see the beauty
Persished the peace of heart

Again, sitting there all along
Bodies gone, all I could see
Are souls, enfolding new path
Encircling with smiles and memories

Having peace in morning dew
Looking for the freshness of flowers
Acquiring courage of lion
Burning and shinning as sun
