The Dance of Rain and Flame

I remember sunshine on my face,
At a time seeming so distant now.
Now, to the raging storm, I bow -
My fight all washed away.

Grey clouds rule, as tyrants overhead,
Blocking all the warmth I've ever known.
I hide the fight I did once show,
And now I welcome death.

Something inside dances so wave-like,
But bears an aura of light.
Perhaps there is a fire still alive,
And a growing will to fight.

Rain, rain, pour away;
Your chill shall not differ me
Flame, flame, burn all night;
Spread my wrathfulness worldwide.

And the dance of rain and flame
Will forever wage inside.
