Somber

It only takes handful to capture the tears
No one told me I'm alone
Yet I thought  what's this feeling if not
Why do I still felt the silence in the shore

Will I be vanished with just a knock of melancholy
A dreadful dream under the bright sky
Like quenching thirst from the vast ocean
Pitcher hindered with colors just to lure the eyes

Been whipped with the lie
Succumb to falling sky asking for mercy
Hoped to atleast bestow heaven in dreams

Hanging on the rope and no one on the other end
Desperate to live the day without thorns
A demon homed inside the soul looks for prey when alone

Every night I hold lantern and bid farewell to fireflies
Like the star shines even from afar
Maybe someday the footprints I left could become the path.....
