Infinite miles away...

I come back home today to see a deserted room,
No one came to welcome me,
Actually, I thought of you when I sat in the car, It made me forget everything I did today.

I miss you terribly, I must say,
Now that you're infinite miles way,
Planning our days together if you had stayed, But that is not possible,
Now that you're infinite miles away.

Your aura is fading from my house, I dare say, We talk about you at the dinner table,
They're telling me to forget about you, but that's impossible,
'Cause I hear your voice when I'm alone.

I dreamt of you the other day,
It made me cry and want to come to you, I must say,
But I can't visit you anymore,
Now that you're infinite miles away...

About this poem

It is about my sweet angelic dog who passed away recently. She is the one whom I think about the whole day.
