Drunken Dad

Virginia Powell 1986 (Kentucky)

There was once a guy who I used to love
Who began to push and shove
He drank and drank until he was drunk
Then one day he was sprayed by a skunk
He went down the bay
Where he fell asleep on a pile of hay
Then awoke and had himself a smoke
Then crashed once again to bake
Drunken again by the lake
I once again said
"That's too bad, your my Dad"
