Alzheimer's

There will be a day
When I will not remember
The breathtaking moments
Of our journey
Across the dune of love
Where we always walked hand in hand
My disease will rob me of a lifetime
Of magic and memories
I will no longer see your galactic beauty
You will be a stranger to me
But someday I will come back to you
For love is never lost
After you take your last breath
Of earth air
You will see me running towards you
In a heavenly field of golden flowers
Where time has no dominion
