Where are our youths ?

Blood! Blood!! Blood!!!
All see is blood
Stained on our country's flag
Stained on our soil
Still the sacrifice of our heroes past
Has not made a difference

Why did we fight for our independence ? If we can't develop ourselves as a country
Why did our leaders sacrifice so much for us ?
And now we are nowhere to be found
Why the corruption ? Why the war ?
Are we not one Nigeria ?

It seems there's no hope
But there's hope, I can see a glimpse of it
Who will go for us?
Who's ready to fight those sitting on the country's progress ?
No one answers
Everyone is scared

Where are our gallant youths ?
In those days the likes of Nnamdi Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo, Tafewa Balewa were top leaders of our great country "Nigeria" in their twenties and thirties are legendary now.

But today our youths have fallen
They've refused to speak up
They've refused to rise up

And then in a twinkle of an eye
I see the youths rising
Saying no to corruption, injustice, bad governance and the likes.
Fighting to vote in right leaders
Then I smiled and said
There's hope once again for Nigeria
Our future is assured
Do you know why ?
It's because "the youths has risen once again"
