The Rhapsody of Life..leading to an end.

I stood and stared for long..
As time just went along...
Like the tirades of the sea ..
Mortal years ...like pigeons...they flee..
Leaving behind a cage of emaciated self..
Busy staring and striving along..
The cause way of time...
Rumbling tears...and momentary smile..
Seeking strength from within...
Like a diminishing flame...
Fighting it's way through a blizzard..
With a blanket of snow...
Letting life ...kiss it's barial
At an all time low...
As the bones within..brittle and soft..
With eye sights going low..
The cage within .. harness a realm of morbidity...sure but slow..
The soft toned lulabi heard at a nascent stage...transforms itself...into a befitting dirge...chanted by the sages...
The world around with it's glitter and glow...
A bygone mile post...left behind..leading to a dungeon trail...
Thy name..."Death"...one  ceremonious wail...
An amplified song...of a group of wailers left behind...
Not much back long...

About this poem

A short commentary on life...seen and felt at a mid way...with a trail leading to its end through a phase of idiosyncrasies.
