The Promise
The Promise
© Dale Nicklowicz
The rainbow starts the story,
The promise soon to follow,
The son would pay the price for us
and carry all our SOrrOWS.
The clouds declare His glory.
to bring us back to God,
and as I look upon the white,
the spotless Lamb of God,
the blue reminds me You're so true,
the yellow, You're the son.
The red is for the blood You shed
and purple, for Your robe.
The green, You are the Tree Of Life
with fruit forevermore.
I thank You for your perfect love,
It shines down from above.
