Lost

Lost
I stand cloaked in darkness,
This valley before me, vast and formless
Yearning for clarity, I wail
A yell of helplessness!

Living in the body of an impostor,
I cry for freedom,
A cry for liberation,
A song of exasperation
A sonnet resplendent of war

The battle is my own,
For it is my boat that I sail
Through this voyage of purpose,
It is my boat that I sail,
Through this voyage of trepidation
It is my boat that I sail,
Through this voyage of reason
It is my boat that I sail,
Through this voyage of existence
It is my boat that I sail,
Through this voyage of self-realization
It is my boat that I sail,
Through this voyage of death
It is my boat that I sail,
Through this voyage of love
It is my boat that I sail,
Through this voyage with joy
It is my boat that I sail,
Through this voyage of adventure
It is my boat that I sail,
This voyage to its’ very END.
