If only I'd known from the start!

Sampreeti Mohapatra 2004 (Bhubhaneshwar)

If only I'd known from the start,
that we're better apart;
maybe then Wouldn't own me.

If only I'd known from your heart,
that I, no longer;
own you From the depth of your heart.

If only I'd known from your eyes,
that you no longer;
want to See me from the depth of your eyes.

If only I'd known from your words,
that you no longer;
remember our Days of late night talks.

If only I'd known from your behavior,
that you no longer,
remain the same,
as you used to be before.

If only I'd known from your mood,
that you no longer,
remained happy When you see me before you.

If only I'd known from the stars,
that you no longer see me In night as you do before your sleep.

If only I'd known from me, that I never Loved you ever. Then, might this situation Hadn't arisen ever.

About this poem

This poem indicates about the heartbroken teens, who blame themselves from time to time for starting a relationship. Or, after thier relationship is over, they sometimes completely loose control over themselves and do the unthinkable.
