Father's Awakening

Silently Shaking from head down to feet
Rosary in one hand, counting round in circles
mumbling lips without a real word spoken,
Beads of sweat on the forehead forever are forming
So heavy one became, down the eye brow it roll
eyes tightly shut wishing a dream it is,
Hoping in a bit a call should come to awakening
From this nightmare presuming to be.
Bowed knee in adoration of this unholy lethal metal,
Cassock so soaked from waistline down to floor below
By a genital way too holy considered by all to be.
Damn!, what a shame it has come to be.
Shut eyelids a tad too long now quivering,
A gaze or two it managed to afford
Sacrilegious bloodshed everywhere within splattered
Floor, walls, ceiling, benches even on the alter
Obvious sight of this menace brought about strength to wield
Brought courage to handle, but took fear faraway
Trembling feet now steadied, upon them up he stood
shut eyelids wide open in bemusement
To challenge this adversity he now behold.
Bang! then came a loud noise
To ensure on our minds father resides forever
In a bit, the world rush in to see
The jihadist has struck again.
