Don't Go Away

Times I know
Only I
Of hurt and grief
Of days gone by

But now you're here
And I am bound to say
These are seasons
They don't go away

And I thought
Of you my dear
How you have seen them too

So I can't be
The only one
Having experienced them too

My heart, my joyful soul
We've got different ways
But in the end, love, these
Are seasons, after all.

Seasons, I say
But they never stay
You may try if you may
They don't go away

About this poem

This poem emphasises on the most grieving periods of our lives. We think only we know them, and have experienced them, and are far more painful than any being could experience. But then, after all, everyone has to face these phases, differently, but the same seasons of joy and grief. We're not alone in this world. We face this cycle of continuity together.
