artemis' lover
i watch the rising sun set in the corner
of my eyes that witnessed you freeze death,
with both your hands that were always on my cheeks
for some reason, i can't console them now
curtains close on my stage
that was always your cage,
in which you promised to keep me safe
for some reason, i can't protect you somehow
aren't you the lover of artemis,
one true menace to maidenhood?
the wretched and beautiful,
the true replica of the moon?
i built another heart for you to break
when there's no more blood left for you to drink,
until your pleasures are fulfilled
for some reason, my throat hurts
i sew the lips that quivered for your sins
that i can't quite embark with my skin,
battling to not shred bit by bit
for some reason, they can't bear your youthful lust
aren't you the lover of artemis,
one true menace to maidenhood?
the wretched and beautiful
the true replica of the moon?
aren't you the sordid image devotion,
partition of love and threat
aren't you my last seen twinkle of the stars
artemis' immortal pain?
i forget to pull the arrow out
with my hands that'd shake from the thought,
of you shaking my ground so delicate
of you not being my counterpart,
the temple of my only beliefs
moves closer to the mosque of peace
sharing roots with the church that mourned,
our eternal carnival of needs
aren't you the lover of artemis,
one true menace to maidenhood?
the wretched and beautiful
the true replica of the moon?
aren't you the sordid image devotion,
partition of love and threat
aren't you my last seen twinkle of the stars
artemis' immortal pain?
