Stones to break

Nida Javaid 1998 (Sargodha)

Stones to break
Minds to shake
Still time needed
To have some faith
I don't think I'm able
To do something great
But hopes are there
To be literate
Can't do anything
It's still abnegate
No one for me
But friends to ameliorate
Know nothing;
Many ideas assimilate
Being bifurcated;
No idea which way to pave
Chimerical to appear
To have a bit of cheers
Deeply cynical,
Not to hear
Result of debility, I swear
Parents do dote
Put a stick on throat
Wearing Dunne's hat
Never had a hatch
Not an emulated
It won't be elucidated

About this poem

It's about a girl,who is confused,alone.Searching for opportunity to show what passions and abilities she have.She always failed whatever she tried to do.somehow she has given up all Hope's but somewhere in her heart she Hopes for something good.
