I know but i don't know

Reshmi 2003 (Mumbai)

I KNOW BUT I DON'T KNOW ✨

I know how it feels
To be the Moon
Surrounded and together
Yet separate for ever
But i don't know how it feels
To be the Sun
To shine the biggest
Be there for someone else

I know i like Autumn
The falling of the leaves
Feels like we are the main leads
But i don't know how it feels
To be leads of stories
That no one will ever read

I know how it feels
To be an ocean
To be filled but,
With endless fights of emotions
But i don't know how it feels to be a stream
That knows where to start and end it's course

I know how to be the rain
To let go and pour out everything
But i don't know how to be a breeze
To touch a face and put their heart to ease

I know life is like a could
Moving changing according
To its wells and wishes
But i don't know how
To act like a rock
To standstill and be accepting

This is all i know
But i know there is more
That i don't know
But for now my heart is shut for more
