Into the Sadness
A sad moment passes like a ripple in a pool.
Many other moments pass
mimicking the pain of the first.
Past it all is a calmness that waits
For the next sad moment.
Dive into your pool . . .
Deep within you will find a calmness
That cannot be distrurbed by any calamity.
This is where you will find me . . .
Patiently waiting for you.
About this poem
Written in a time of serious depression and anxiety. It was the first step toward coming out of it.
