Splashing of the Unknown

The rain was splashing on the windows,
I had a conflict going on within.
Thinking of all the miseries & sorrows
I was happy to see the new day begin.

The emotions I feel are not unknown,
But they hit different every time.
Like the raindrops on the walls,
Same but still diverse in its chime.

I think I know what this is called,
It is a storm raging in all sorts.
This is the thunderous silence I seek,
The thing that will calm me in all odds.

I want to run off to the rains,
Take out everything that I have in vain.
Maybe bursting in tears is what I will gain,
But for sure they will console my heart & brain.
