Dear Mom

Good morning mom,
 a month you gone
I'm fighting my demons, trying to be strong
People say don't worry things will get better
Apparently time will heal the pain
Everyday it's almost the same
At home I have your picture in a frame
Mom can't even look you in the eye
For some reason I don't know why
Maybe I'm angry, maybe I'm sad
Or maybe I just wish back the days we had
Your death has hit me hard, you were my sunshine but now all is dark
I hope your soul has come to peace
Mom be with me as I walk these streets
My gaurdian angel, my ray of light
Knowing you by my side will make things right
I wish I could give you one last hug
Ps I love you,
Marlon
